The webinar "Industrial Heritage Beyond West Europe: Chinese Industrial Heritage Conservation and Management" will be held online on 30 August 2023 between 11.00-13.00 (CET) and hosted by the Kadir Has University, under the leadership of Dr. Andrew M. Law, from the Newcastle University.
In this webinar, Dr. Ning Lu (Qingdao University of Technology) will be a keynote speaker with his lecture "Reform of Industrial Heritage Conservation in China: Retrospect and Prospect" to discuss Chinese industrial heritage conservation and management. The conference will be followed by a panel discussion and a public debate.

About the Speaker:
Dr. Ning Lu has been working as a lecturer at the College of Architecture and Urban Planning of Qingdao University of Technology since 2017. Ning holds a PhD in Industrial Heritage Conservation and Management from Newcastle University, UK. His research interests focus on 'integral strategies for conservation and planning', 'multiple values and public participation in heritage management', theory and practice of historic landscape regeneration in coastal areas' and 'inventory industrial heritage conservation and reuses'.
